My tarot deck is being oddly comforting
Today's reading:
The Situation:
The World--Completion. The end of one cycle and the beginning of another
The Star--Wishes, hopes, dreams and possibilities
10 of Pentacles--retirement, family, legacy
Things are changing, but it's not the catastrophe of the Tower. it's just one cycle rolling into another, easily as turning the calendar. This holds a world of possibilities, and many of them are good, and will lead to good things.
What i need to know about it
The Fool-- Beginnings
The Hanged Man--sacrifice, enlightenment
Ace of cups--emotional fulfillment
It's not going to be an easy beginning. I need to be enlightened, calm and willing to sacrifice. But it will be a fulfilling one.
What I can control:
3 of Pentacles--craftsmanship, good work
Ace of wands--inspiration, generation
Page of pentacles--clarity of thought
If I am clear of thought, put in good hard work and follow my inspiration, it's all good.
What I cannot:
The Empress--intuituion and fertility
The lovers
3 of Cups--celebration, joy, happiness
Richard and i aren't going to eb happy for a while. That's okay too, just part of the cycle.
Outcome:
Knight of Swords--swift action at the right time
Temperance
10 of Wands--burden, stress, accomplishment, achievement
If we move swiftly and wisely, do the very stressful labor and take the middle ground, we will get the good stuff.
Overall: 4 of cups--family, community celebration
