"Aha! My keenly heightened super hero senses reveal to me without any shadow of a doubt... that my mask needs a pair of eye holes."
Got Mudd a dr. appointment on Monday at 10:30. He gets these huge welts under his arms, and they eventually come up to a head (or two or three) and then open and ooze. Narsty! Naturally, they occur under the arm he cuddles me with. I have horrors of waking up to a trickle of blood down my face (again) only to find it's not mine.
Maybe that last bit needs explaining. I saw ST2, right? We all did. Those Ear-mites Khan used creeped me out. I had a modified radical mastoidectomy the following winter. And I woke up, from Khan nightmares, to a trickle of blood running down my face from under the bandages. My dad said it took three minutes for him to calm me down and make me stop screaming (I was in the Parent Care Unit at Children's Mercy, which meant Mom or Dad was there all the time). The nurses were boggled, until he explained I'd had a nightmare. I think they repacked my ear (I'd clawed most of the bandaging and packing away) and gave me a sedative that night.
I have always had really vivid dreams. Last night was very bizarre. We were at an SCA event, Bunny and I, and her preschool crush Talon, all grown up. He got caught thieving, so he was to be hanged as entertainment during the feast. (Thing is, I had stolen the item, not him) I had the Prince, Conlann, intervene. He was gorgeous. 6'5", looked a lot like the late Kevin Smith only thinner and kinder in the face. Red velvet and gold trim. I can still feel his hand as he grabbed mine and we dashed for the village to save Talon.
(We got Talon off the hook, and Conlann decided he liked me. A lot. Despite the faded, worn cotton tunics, ugly bag hat and dirt)
I have the supply lists, but no idea what to buy for school.
Dad is coming to town tonight, and we'll meet him for breakfast, then i have to go have my ears vacuumed. I want to go to Hobby Lobby. Patterns are $1.99. And Office Depot has school supplies on sale. I'm gonna buy a million pencils, and a good metal bolt-to-the-wall sharpener.
Need to write. or vid. Wonder if I have Blazing Saddles yet. Would a Gene Wilder slash vid squick anyone?
