2015 in the rearview

It was a rough year. But we survived.
I lost Mom in December. In September, frequent commenter the D-Man, Darren Bloomquist, was taken from us by a 17 year old with a gun.

The bed-making fell apart over the summer. But I can do it. I did it for 6 months.
My LJ work has been slowing down. I need to get it back up. But a lot of content ended up at the blogspot. I managed to do the October and December postings. And Pie Friday seemed to work well.

I kept working for Action Link and finished my first year with them.
I got hired for seasonal part time at Michaels. Hoping they keep me on.

I had all my teeth pulled in May. So, there are no more brutal toothaches. The dentures serve their purpose.
I did two rounds with scabies
Oli-chan was diagnosed with Reynaud's syndrome.

Obi-Wan Chrisobi was sent to Korea. He also bought his first car and got a tattoo. It matches mine.

We got a new Washer and Dryer. And cleaned out a chunk of the garage.
We also learned the anomaly in Mudd's pay schedule. He gets double checks in June, and none in July. Weird.

I got to see something I thought I never would: actual movie footage of Harry Houdini doing escapes.

I had two books come out this year: Terror of the Frozen North and Somewhere Out There. I wrote a short story for a pulp fiction animal attack anthology. I had an essay in Invisible 2. I gave up on NaNo earlier than I ever have

We had three kittens arrive in July and one die in August. The other two are delights.

Jonner got accepted to ASU in Jonesboro on a partial scholarship.
Jonner got braces

Oli-chan attended her first formal dance.

Inkstained Succubus re-released Crossroads, published 1KRV5, Matters of Scale, Somewhere Out There and Winter Shivers.
We started a craft division, Conspiracy Arts.
We started a newsletter.
Our first audiobook is up for sale. Our second awaits my approval.
Gabriel suffered from major teeth problems and a couple of nasty ovarian cysts. These incapactitated him throughout much of the year.
We went to a lot of conventions. I met writers I've read for years.

We lost Terry Prachett, Leonard Nimoy, Tanith Lee, Maureen O'Hara, Yogi Berra, Wes Craven, Rowdy Roddy Piper, Omar Sharif, Dean Jones, James best, Mario Cuomo, Donna Douglas, Grace Lee Whitney, Fred Thompson, Robert Loggia, Melissa Matheson

Helluva a year.
