State of the Sooky
Busy Day. Very busy day
Work: got call reports done up, made pre-calls.
Medical: set up dental appointment for Monday, I have sharp points coming up in my gums, making my dentures very uncomfortable. I need more benzodent.
Writing: added almost 1000 words to Terror doing some content edits. Had to make sure it was clear that Edward was only about 30 instead of 50-60. Now why a WWI vet would be 60 in 1923... I'm not sure. It's back to my editor, who is unhappy with my formatting. My word processor HATES .rtf and ate all my smart quotes as well as attributing my inserted sticky notes to my editor.
*sigh*
Cleaning: Worked in Study. Got a bag and a box full out. There is a LOT of bare floor. Washed dishes. washed out roaster oven so it doesn't get smelly and gross over the weekend.
Removed my FetLife account. I don't use it enough to bother.
Dinner was Little Caesar's. We hadn't had pizza in weeks.
Kids: took the kids to get their learner permits, but fouled up the time. Need to be there before 9 AM to get them signed up. OTOH, I have all the paperwork to go Tues.
Packed for Hypericon. Need to add some yarn and a hook, for Iron Artist
Reading: How to think like Sherlock, Where the Long Grass Blows
Media: Watched Hero Wanted. Garbage man Cuba Gooding Jr and cop Ray Liotta take on bankrobbers Tommy Flanagan and Kim Coates, and Norman Reedus plays both ends against the middle. This was...violent and oddly dull. Reedus without an accent kept throwing me. Flanagan clean-shaven and 7 years ago looks 20 years younger.
Crafting: a few rounds on a hotpad.
